Privacy policy

This explains what Yardsout Fantasy, run by Pro Football Action, collects and why. Short version: we use your league data to give you advice, we keep your email only if you buy Pro, and we don't sell your data or show ads.

What we collect

• Your fantasy username and league data. When you enter your Sleeper username, we read your public profile and league data (rosters, scoring settings, standings and matchups) from Sleeper. We don't ask for or store your Sleeper password.
• Your account. If you create a free account, we keep your email address, the Sleeper usernames you add, the leagues you open while signed in (their name, your team name and a link), and your free league. You sign in with Google, which tells us only your email address. There is no password.
• Emails. We don't send you marketing emails. We only email you about a purchase you made.
• Purchase details. If you buy Pro, Dodo Payments collects your payment details. We receive and keep your email address, order IDs, plan and its status. We never see or store your full card number.
• Cookies. We set a sign-in cookie when you sign in or buy, and a cookie that remembers your free league before you have an account. We don't use advertising cookies.
• Product analytics. We use PostHog to see which pages people use and where they get stuck, including session replays with every form field hidden. It sets its own cookie. It never receives your ESPN or Yahoo sign-in details or your card, and we don't sell this data.
• Basic logs. Our hosting provider records technical data such as IP address and pages requested, to keep the service secure and working.

Who we share it with

Only the services that run Yardsout, and only what each one needs:

• Dodo Payments, to process payments, taxes and refunds.
• Google, if you choose "Continue with Google", to confirm your email address.
• Vercel (hosting) and Supabase (database), which store and serve our data, mainly in the United States.
• Anthropic, which writes the plain-English explanations. It receives the facts behind a recommendation (such as player names and projected points), not your email or payment details.

We don't sell or rent your personal information, and we don't share it for advertising.

How long we keep it

League data is refreshed constantly and cached briefly. Your account stays until you ask us to delete it. Purchase records are kept as long as needed for your access, tax and accounting. Ask us and we'll delete your data, except what we must keep by law.

Your choices and rights

You can ask to see, correct or delete your data, or ask how it's used, by emailing us. Residents of California and other US states with privacy laws have these rights by law, and we offer them to everyone. Clearing your browser's cookies signs you out.

Children

Yardsout isn't meant for children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect their data.
